We started working for the caravan club in June 2010 and in February 2013 we were promoted to wardens running our own site in Richmond, North Yorkshire. During 2014 & 2015 we ran Rowntree Park Caravan Club Site in York. In 2016 we took over at Park Coppice in Coniston, Cumbria.

Embarrassing day yesterday
We've upset the locals in Battle already! Yesterday we went into country clothing with the dogs & Jake thought the small manikin in the window was a child & he wanted to play with it! He pushed it slightly & it fell over hit the window & it's arm fell off - luckily the window didn't break, we apologized & made a swift exit, lol.

Brighton
Today we all had a lovely walk into Brighton. The skies were blue & it was almost warm! We walked along the prom just past the new pier & we then headed into the centre, via The Lanes - which is very quaint & full of very different unique shops. After a quick coffee stop we headed back to the front & walked back to site along the beach. We walked just shy of 8 miles today & don't my feet know it!

Holt and Sheringham
Today we went into the village of Holt just before lunch. It is a very quaint place with lots of high class shops - don't know why we went there then!
Afterwards, on our way back we called in at Sheringham, which is also a very quaint place but with the added advantage of being on the coast.

Clumber park
Last week we had a lovely time at Clumber Park, we chilled loads as that was the first real week of our time off. On the Saturday we had a drive out and ended up in Newark - which is a lovely town, lots of shops, cafes, restaurants and of course bars! Later in the afternoon Carl ended up in one called 'Just Beer' whilst I perused the shops in peace!
We also did lots of walking around Clumber Forrest Itself and got lost a couple of times, but all in all we had a relaxing week.
The picture is of one of the tiny streets in Newark.

Clumber park, Nottingham
We arrived safe & sound at lunchtime today. The sun was shining & it was actually quite warm. We have a good nosing pitch (end of a row) as we intend to chillax for the next week: just walking the dogs through the Forrest & not much else, although we may go to watch Skyfall at some point.
