Our "Billy No Mates" pitch at Seacroft nr Cromer in Norfolk. Today we have lovely blue skies and the sun is actually warm too - only 2 minutes from the beach - grand as owt!
We started working for the caravan club in June 2010 and in February 2013 we were promoted to wardens running our own site in Richmond, North Yorkshire. During 2014 & 2015 we ran Rowntree Park Caravan Club Site in York. In 2016 we took over at Park Coppice in Coniston, Cumbria.

Holt and Sheringham
Today we went into the village of Holt just before lunch. It is a very quaint place with lots of high class shops - don't know why we went there then!
Afterwards, on our way back we called in at Sheringham, which is also a very quaint place but with the added advantage of being on the coast.

Clumber park
Last week we had a lovely time at Clumber Park, we chilled loads as that was the first real week of our time off. On the Saturday we had a drive out and ended up in Newark - which is a lovely town, lots of shops, cafes, restaurants and of course bars! Later in the afternoon Carl ended up in one called 'Just Beer' whilst I perused the shops in peace!
We also did lots of walking around Clumber Forrest Itself and got lost a couple of times, but all in all we had a relaxing week.

Clumber park, Nottingham
We arrived safe & sound at lunchtime today. The sun was shining & it was actually quite warm. We have a good nosing pitch (end of a row) as we intend to chillax for the next week: just walking the dogs through the Forrest & not much else, although we may go to watch Skyfall at some point.

Brighton for the Winter!
We are travelling down to Sheepcote Valley for our 2nd part of winter work for the Caravan Club. We will have accommodation there too, so at least we will be lovely & toasty on those cold winter evenings, especially as the site isn't too far from the beach!
We are really looking forward too it as we have never travelled to that area of England before.

Wharfdale nr Grassington
We are having a lovely break away from Coniston for a few days - its our first long break in over two months!
Wednesday eve saw us walk to the Old Hall Inn at Thresfield for our tea. Yesterday we walked into the village of Grassington and had a couple in the Devonshire Hotel.
Today is lovely sunshine & Carl cooked breakfast outside, so this afternoon we may have a little walk with Jake , via our local at Long Ashes!

The Puzzling Place
Tuesday saw us all go to the Puzzling Place at Keswick. It was really amazing - some of the rooms made us feel quite disorientated & sick, but definitely worth a visit if you are in Keswick!

A long day walking today
Climbed up The Old Man Of Coniston today, then on to Swirl How, about 9.5 miles with Carl, Dad & Jake. On our return home Jake still wanted to play with his tennis ball - mad dog!

Grange Over Sands
We have just had a couple of lovely days at Meathop Fell Caravan Club Site, I know it's a bit of a busman's holiday, but the weather was just fab & the vodka & coke flowed well!
Bob enjoyed his break too, as this was his first time off the pitch since we arrived, so the run out will have done him good!
See 'Bob' the Bailey below (No pun intended to my old boss!)

Park Coppice, Coniston
We have been on site now for over a month and have settled in really well. The weather has been great for this area, as most of our rain has been in the evening. We are approx 1 mile from the village of Coniston, and we have walked into the village numerous times with many a pub stop en-route.

Our Lake District week
Comes to an end tomorrow morning after breakfast, we have had a lovely time and done loads...
Last Sunday we started to assend Grisdale Pike - but the weather turned very cold and we turned round half way up, but we did manage about 7.5 miles walking.
Monday we did some forest walking and got lost, so about 4 miles on that day!
Tuesday, best day for the weathersaw, us all walk up Skiddaw. With a summit at 931 m (3,054 ft) above sea level it is the fourth highest mountain in England.
About 6 miles and feeling the pain!!
Rest of the week has been on the flat, Ambleside & the coast!!

At Kirkby Lonsdale till next week
Finally we have 3G and a phone signal, last week in the Wales & Gargrave we didn't have either - also no TV, nice!
Anyway we are here till next week and then we head to the Lakes for our wedding anniversary treat - a lovely B&B for a week.
Yesterday we had a trip into Grange-over-sands, the weather was just fab, we even managed a beer sat in the beer garden with no coats on it was so warm! Think we won't move to far from site this weekend & we will let the day tourists do their things and we will head off somewhere on Monday when it's quieter!

Yet again, we have been extremely lucky with the old weather - not much sun ( but it is feb ), no rain and hardly any wind!

Chirk
We arrived at Lady Margaret's park yesterday afternoon. Thought it would only take about an hour to set the motorhome up, but it actually took over two - so we weren't impressed. We had a surprisingly warm & cosy night despite the outside temperature being a lot lower than freezing. Tomorrow it is forecast to drop to around -10 deg, so I think Carl & I will be fighting to have Jake in our sleeping bag!!!

We went into the city of York today. Since we got up early we were in York for about 9am, it was really quiet & peaceful. Shame there were no pub open at that time for Carl to sample more beer!

A proper pub
Later this morning we are heading off to Beverley, East Yorkshire, where we will be frequenting a proper old fashioned traditional pub called Nellies ( aka The White Horse ). It has lots of small rooms, all with gas lamp lighting, flag floors and inglenook fireplaces. Sounds great doesn't it - the best thing is that the beer is less than £2.00 / pint, now that certainly is rarer than a snow leopard!!!

Soon to arrive in Sewerby
After having spent 3 lovely relaxing nights at Clumber Park, we left there this morning en-route in Sewerby, East Yorkshire. We will be visiting family & just relaxing- hopefully have a few walks on the beach too. Jake will meet lots of new people & new friends, namely: Flick, Jack & Max, who are all black Labradors!
