Carl, Janet and the Caravan Club
We started working for the caravan club in June 2010 and in February 2013 we were promoted to wardens running our own site in Richmond, North Yorkshire. During 2014 & 2015 we ran Rowntree Park Caravan Club Site in York. In 2016 we took over at Park Coppice in Coniston, Cumbria.

Park Coppice in Coniston
Our first month here at Park Coppice had flown by. We have a brilliant team of 8 staff, which is needed due to this being the largest site on the clubs network. Still loads of work to to do to get the site how it needs to be, but the with the great team we have in place we will have much fun along the way.

Winter work at Wharfedale nr Grassington
Where did the summer season go at Hargill House nr Richmond, North Yorkshire? We are working at the wharfedale site now until early Jan 2014. It is one of our favorite sites & feel very lucky to have the chance to work here. As the site is run by 2 couples it will give us chance to have days off during the week to explore the area & give 'the boys' lots of lovely walks - of course visiting the local watering holes too!

This picture reminds me of Steven Townsend's painting of a border collie which is titled 'Waiting for Stan'

We are Wardens now!
About a month ago we got a phone call from our RM whilst we were doing winter work at Brighton, to say that we had been promoted & that we had a choice of two sites on the network - we chose Richmond Hargill House. Even though the site is just 2 miles from Scotch Corner on the busy A66 it's still a really pretty site with gorgeous views of the North Yorkshire moors. We run the site as a single couple, therefore work a straight 24 days but then we have a week off. We open on Friday 15th March - so here's to a busy season!
